Glimmers & Glows is a monthly column for paid subscribers. I’m using the term “glimmer” as coined by Deb Dana in her book The Polyvagal Theory in Therapy. Glimmers are small moments when our nervous system is regulated, which helps us to feel safe and calm. Sometimes these small moments can expand into bigger moments called Glows. This column goes like this: at the end of each month I’ll share my own glimmers and glows, and I invite you to share yours in the comments. Sound peachy?
