I'm glad after all the worry and waiting and needing the ultrasound, everything is ok.!!! I'm starting a journey with wacky thyroid numbers, had an ultrasound and they found 2 relatively small "mildly suspicious"...I'm off in a couple months to an endocrinologist.....I am 70 and have health anxiety....it's hard navigating life when these things happen, not to mention how most of us are sickened by this admin and what they have done ....well, at least you have the snow and cold.... however, it's a bit too cold 🥶🥶

I had my first one last year, and youre right, I thought it was going to be much more painful than it was. The female technician was kind.

I will ALWAYS advocate for mammograms. One of my dear friends (who is a month younger than me) was diagnosed, treated for, and survived breast cancer. Twice. She had a breast removed the first run, got implants, and then when they found cancer again, she had the implants removed and now has no breasts at all. This is all before the age of 40. We're 43. My best friend's mom, sister and grandmother all had and survived breast cancer. My best friend carries a gene that makes her susceptible to breast cancer, so she had a complete mastectomy as well. I just had my 4th scan back in December. And you know what I do immediately after? I make my next appointment.

The techs are so very kind and apologetic when working with me. Always apologizing in case it feels too pinchy, asking me if I'm OK. Makes the process less scary and painful. I'm glad you got yours done!
