I have done so much work on addressing internalized ableism around my physical capacity, but HECK do I ever have a long way to go yet to feel like my brain (which like, is part of my physicality and my body and I get that) is as worthy of the same care and patience I offer to say, a dislocated joint.
I hope you get to a place where you love and adore both your body and brain, Lachrista. I'm also trying to get over internalized oppression of a different nature. Part of that is spending time with people and in situations where I'm valued for who I am.
