My husband got fired suddenly last May, but it was an amazing catalyst for us to do something new and different. It created financial insecurity, but it ended up being the best thing ever. We moved to the coast, bought a 31-foot sailboat, and figured out how to use our remaining money to sail the world indefinitely. Neither of us loved our jobs. So, I’m now grateful for the smug bastards who fired him! They did us both a big favor, and I bet they’re still miserable at their crappy jobs.
thanks for sharing. I too have been fired from a horrible company that did not deserve to be in business for more than a minute, based on how it was run and the fist fights (yep, you read that right) between coworkers. I know it sucks, but they clearly didn’t deserve to have you as an employee.
