I am also a librarian and just want to bring to your attention another group for the timeline - Radical Reference:http://radicalreference.info/, which was started in 2004 during the Republican National Convention in NYC to provide on the ground reference service to journalists who were covering the convention. I was involved much later during Trump 1.0, but the group has since been on hiatus.
