I’ve subbed in a lot of chips in place of the cookies. Still not at no white sugar life though it’s better with far less.

This and more this. I have limited it and at times completely removed and it always helps with anxiety.

Do whatever you want with your body because yay bodily autonomy!!

But also for anyone reading this worried that they too need to quit sugar because of fears about diabetes, I highly recommend seeking a HAES registered dietician who can share how all foods fit while managing blood sugars, etc.

Yes, for sure. I have PCOS, which is a metabolic syndrome and I definitely seem to have some insulin resistance symptoms.

Totally! I have PCOS too actually (no fun at all!! lol) and working with a HAES dietician has actually helped me so much probably leading to my comment. I’m so tired of doctors who take an hour on nutrition giving half-assed diet culture infused advice and I’m so glad there are professionals out there who specialize in these things and can help. I’m so thankful I was able to access this care, I wish everyone knew about it lol which again is probably why I commented too.

I hear you! I will still be using maple syrup or honey as my sweetener of choice! Just no added sugars.
